LSUA Leadership Challenge
LSUA has established a scholarship to draw leadership to our campus. The premise for the scholarship is simple. If you are a leader – in school or in the community, then you may qualify for a college scholarship to attend LSU Alexandria.
Qualifications
- Students must be eligible for admission to LSUA.
- Students must be a leader in their high school or community.
- Students must complete the Leadership Scholarship Challenge Application and return to the LSUA Admissions Office no later than February 2, 2009.
- Students must participate in a full day of leadership competitions held on February 21, 2009.
The Scholarship
- First Place: $1,500 per semester/$3,000 per academic year for up to 4 years
- Second Place: $1,000 per semester/$2,000 per academic year for up to 4 years
- Third Place: $750 per semester/$1,500 per academic year for up to 4 years
In order to maintain the scholarship, students must be actively involved in at least one student organization and maintain a 3.0 grade point average.
