Student Showcase Performances to Benefit Burma Refugees

Friday, March 16 at 7:30 pm, LSU Alexandria will hold a Student Showcase performance in Fitness Center, Room 205.

A series of monologues and scenes will be performed by LSUA students, faculty and friends. Performers include Jonathan Belgard, Robert Harper, John Hebert, John Hebron, Brittanie Holloway, Mary Jack, Mary Johnson, Lisa Mayeux, Tory Mayeux, Lindsay Mcneal, Belle Rollins, Sarah Swart and Kody Walker.

Admission, which is open to the public, is $2 or a donation of one of the following (new and unopened): baby blankets, antibiotic ointment, wet wipes, shampoo, baby socks, children’s chewable vitamins or baby vitamin drops.

All donations will go the Burma Refugee fundraiser. Burma or Myanmar is a country on the Northwestern border of Thailand where thousands of Internally Displaced Persons, children and adults, are victims of a civil war.
