LSUA Mardi Gras Parade to Roll Feb. 14 at Noon

LSU Alexandria’s ninth annual Mardi Gras Parade is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14.

The parade will begin at noon and make its way around the campus block. The Continuing Education department will lead the way on the grand marshal’s float.

The floats will be manned by LSU Alexandria employees and students. They will throw beads, candy and other Mardi Gras trinkets to the crowd.

The public is encouraged to attend this free event.

This year’s royal court includes the LSUA Writing Center tutoring staff and the Krewe of Multiple Personalities, which is made up of LSUA psychology students.
