Third annual Trick or Treat Street set for Oct. 30

Released: 10/12/2006

Why worry about dodging cars, comforting frightened children, or trusting the integrity of collected candy when there is a safe, family friendly alternative? On Monday, Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m., LSU Alexandria is holding its Third Annual Trick or Treat Street.

Safe within a blocked-off portion of the LSUA campus, children 12 and under can play games and collect Halloween treats distributed by the university student organizations and departments hosting this fundraiser. Admission is $3 per person including adults.

LSUA will provide Halloween bags to every child and encourages children to wear their Halloween costumes; however, scary costumes are discouraged. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
