Free Forum offered on military training in central Louisiana

LSU Alexandria will offer a Free Forum to the community titled “Alexandria, Central Louisiana and the World: The History of Training Troops for Global Conflict”.

The Free Forum will be presented from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2 in the second floor training room at Red River Bank on Jackson Street Extension.

Dr. Jerry Sanson, LSU Alexandria Professor of History and Political Science will provide the presentation.

Dr. Sanson will discuss the central role that Alexandria and Central Louisiana played during World War I and World War II in training troops for global conflict.

The program is presented free of charge by LSU Alexandria and its Free Forum sponsor, Red River Bank.
