Essay winners announced

Four LSU Alexandria students are being honored for winning the university’s Student Essay Contest.

The contest was designed to recognize the best essays written on campus. Students from all academic areas competed.

The winners in each of the four categories are as follows: 1000-level class, Janae Borman of Pineville; 2000-level course essay, Eric Clark of Pollock; 3000/4000-level, Lynette Paul of Pollock; Shakespeare, Gabriel Guillory of Plaucheville.

The winners will receive $50 and recognition at the Honors Day Convocation on Tuesday, April 25.
