Mayo to make presentation at LHA conference

Cena Mayo, an LSU Alexandria senior, is presenting a paper at the Louisiana Historical Association’s annual meeting in Lafayette on March 25. This is a major conference for Louisiana historians at the professional, graduate and undergraduate level. Her paper is entitled “Tinhorn Gamblers and Sawmill Loafers: The Brotherhood of Timber Workers and the Grabow, Louisiana, Riot and Trial of 1912.”

Mayo is the president of the Clio Society (the History Club) and is a history major. She is also an SGA representative. Several other Clio Society members will be attending the conference.
