LSU Alexandria to host Science and Engineering Fair on March 18

LSU Alexandria is hosting the Louisiana Region IV Science and Engineering Fair on Saturday, March 18. The Region IV Fair serves students in grades 6-12 in public, private and home schools from a nine-parish area, including Rapides, Avoyelles, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Sabine, Vernon, Catahoula and Concordia. Winners from the Region IV fair progress on to state and international competition. This competition is affiliated with the Louisiana Science and Engineering Fair (LSU-Baton Rouge) as well as the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF).

Judging takes place in the Fitness Center from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The public is invited to view projects from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The second round of judging takes place from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

The Awards Ceremony will be held in the Barbara Brumfield Caffey Annex beginning at 2:30 and lasting until 4 p.m.
