Kappa Sigma holding Rush Week

The Colony of Kappa Sigma at LSU Alexandria is sponsoring several activities for its first-ever Rush Week beginning Monday, Feb. 6.

Students are invited to attend and find out more about Kappa Sigma, a national fraternity that is in the process of starting a chapter on campus, President Billy Pilgrim said.

The theme for Rush Week is “Brotherhood.” Daytime activities will be on the campus quad from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. each day. On Monday, members will have barbecue, an obstacle course and space walk while Tuesday’s activity includes football and volleyball games. Members will have the space walk and obstacle course on the campus quad on Wednesday while football and volleyball games will dominate Thursday’s activities. Friday’s schedule has not been finalized.

Kappa Sigma also plans nightly activities, including bowling on Tuesday and a movie on Thursday.
