Holocaust exhibit on display in library

Released: 11/16/2005

A poster exhibit titled “The Holocaust, 1933-1945” published by the Simon Wiesenthal Center in 1988 is on view at the James C. Bolton Library on the LSU Alexandria campus through Dec. 8.

The exhibit was created as part of the effort to remember the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Nazi regime in the hope that such inhumanity would never be repeated.

In connection with the poster exhibit, Rabbi Arnold Task will share his thoughts on the significance of the Nazi regime''s extermination of 6 million Jews and an equal number of non-Jews between 1933 and 1945.

The program titled “Lessons from the Holocaust in a Tough World” will be held in the James C. Bolton Library on the LSU Alexandria campus at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28. The public is invited to attend.
