Trick or Treat Street set for Oct. 27

Released: 10/19/2005

LSU Alexandria is offering a safe alternative to trick-or-treating for area children. The university’s second-annual Trick or Treat Street will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Last year’s event was a terrific success and promises to be bigger than before, organizer Julie Gill said.

University organizations and departments are hosting the event, which is designed to provide a family friendly atmosphere for children ages 12 and under. Admission is $3.

Children will collect treats at tables set up along the campus block. The event will be moved to the Caffey Annex in case of rain.

Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Scary costumes and themes are discouraged. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
