Brames win LSU Alexandria golf tournament

Scott and Jack Brame of Alexandria won a two-man scramble Monday at the Oakland Plantation Golf Course at LSU Alexandria.

Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit faculty development in the Department of Business Administration.

The Brames ended 10 under par. The second-place team, finishing six under par, consisted of Scott Pilcher and Michael Kearney of Alexandria. The third-place prize went to Jim Atkins and David Bates of Pineville, who finished two under par.

The award for longest drive went to Jack Brame. The award for closest to the pin went to Dusty Nassif, a faculty member at LSU Alexandria.

There were no winners for the hole-in-one prize – a 2005 Mazda RX-8 sports car donated from Hixson AutoPlex of Alexandria
