Faculty member to host Native American Indian presentation

Dr. Les Hannah, assistant professor of English at LSU Alexandria, will host a viewing and academic discussion of the film “Smoke Signals” at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Marksville Fire Station Community Room.

The film is based on the novel “The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven” by Sherman Alexie. The event will begin with a brief discussion before the film viewing at 6:30 p.m.
