LSU Alexandria Library collecting donations

Released: 04/05/2005

LSU Alexandria’s James C. Bolton Library is accepting donations of books, movies and CDs for its annual book sale.

Donations can be dropped off through Friday, April 15, at the loading dock on the east side of the library from 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday, or at the library’s Circulation Desk.

Books, movies and CDs also can be dropped off at the Studio in Jena, also known as Roger Malcomb's salon, at 2745 N. First St. from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on weekdays except Tuesday. The Studio can be reached at 318-922-4324.

The donations will be used in the library’s annual book sale, which is scheduled for Friday, April 22, and Saturday, April 23, during LSU Alexandria’s Shakespeare-on-the-Greene festival.

All proceeds from the book sale will go to the Friends of the James C. Bolton Library to help pay for needs that are not funded by tuition or the state.
