Free Forum to focus on career options, opportunities

Released: 03/22/2005

Are you about to graduate and don’t know what to do next? Are you unhappy with your job and want to explore other careers? Have you been out of school for a while and want to go to college?

A Free Forum on the LSU Alexandria campus April 5 can help.

“Choosing the Right Career,” is designed to help people find the career path that is right for them. There is no age limit.

It will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, in the Rapides Parish Technology Center, Weldon “Bo” Nipper Building, at LSU Alexandria.

Each participant will learn assessment tools to help you choose a career you will really enjoy; how to apply for college; college financial aid information and options; and options for free training to help you become job-ready.

The Free Forum is presented by LSU Alexandria and KALB and sponsored by Red River Bank. There is no charge, but registration is required. Call 473-6495 to register or for more information.
