Spring registration set for Jan. 12 and 13

LSU Alexandria will hold regular registration for the spring semester on Wednesday, Jan, 12, and Thursday, Jan. 13, following the schedule below. Evening registration will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The registration period is for new students and continuing students who did not register during early registration. Students should be prepared to pay fees on the day they register.

Continuing, re-entry and new students who have been notified of their acceptance should report directly to their department office to begin registration. Students who applied for admission but who have not received notice of acceptance should report to the Admissions Office in Abrams Hall.

Students who wish to enroll for the spring semester but have not submitted an application for admission also should report to the Admissions Office according to their last name following the schedule below. New students should be prepared to go through the admissions process, attend a brief orientation session, pay fees, get their student identification card and vehicle decal and meet with an academic adviser to schedule courses.

Students who registered early and paid their fees may adjust their schedules from 8-10 a.m. on Jan. 12 in their department.

The registration schedule is as follows, according to the first letter of last name:

Wednesday, Jan. 12: B – 10-10:30 a.m. E – 10:30-11 a.m. A – 11-11:30 a.m. C – 1-1:30 p.m. W – 1:30-2 p.m. G – 2-2:30 p.m. S – 2:30-3 p.m. I – 3-3:30 p.m. Night registration – 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 13 H – 8:30-9 a.m. L – 9-9:30 a.m. N, O, P – 9:30-10 a.m. J – 10-10:30 a.m. Mc, M – 10:30-11 a.m. K, U, V – 11-11:30 a.m. D – 1-1:30 p.m. Q, R – 1:30-2 p.m. F, T – 2-2:30 p.m. X, Y, Z – 2:30-3 p.m.

Spring semester classes begin on Tuesday, Jan. 18. The campus will be closed Jan. 17 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
