LSU Alexandria, in collaboration with McNeese State University in Lake Charles, is bringing engineering courses to the central Louisiana community. Through a cooperative agreement, students can take general education and engineering courses in Alexandria, affording them the opportunity to earn an engineering degree without leaving the area.

Three engineering courses are being offered this fall through the LSU Alexandria Math and Physical Sciences Department. Courses include ENGR 101-Engineering Graphics, ENGR 109-Engineering Science and Computing and ENGR 301-Statics. The dates and times of the courses are listed in the Fall class schedule. Pre-requisites may be required for some courses. Fees and tuition for McNeese University will apply.

To register for these courses, students need to pick up an admission application and additional instructions from LSU Alexandria’s Math and Physical Sciences department in Oakland Hall room 107-A. You may call the department for more information at (318) 473-6591.
