<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) is offering the opportunity for students and members of the central Louisiana community to tour select locations in France and Switzerland through a travel course offered during the spring semester. The group will enjoy several guided tours seeing sites such as Lord Byron&acute;s Chillon Castle and Montreux in Switzerland; the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum in Paris; and other attractions in the French Riviera. This learning experience about the people, culture and places of interest of this region of the world is tentatively set to take place on May 16 - 26, 1998. </p><p> Students can schedule the course for either 1 or 3 credit hours in English, fine arts, or theatre or for 3 credit hours in history. The credit classes will meet during the B-term session which starts in March. </p><p> The approximate cost for a full-time LSUA student who is under 25 years of age is $1,982. Tuition and fees for other program participants will vary depending on the number of hours taken for credit and upon double or triple occupancy for hotels. </p><p> Members of the community may take the trip on a non-credit basis. Approximate cost is $2,282 which includes round trip air fare from New Orleans, eight nights in 3 and 4-star hotels (double occupancy), breakfast and dinner each day, and 8 guided tours including admission fees. </p><p> A $90 application fee and $400 partial payment is due by January 20, 1998.
