<p> Chancellor Robert Cavanaugh presented diplomas to 93 graduates during Louisiana State University at Alexandria&acute;s Spring Commencement exercises held May 21. During commencement, 70 students earned associate degrees and 23 students earned bachelor&acute;s degrees. </p><p> Charles S. Weems, III, president and senior member of the Gold, Weems, Bruser, Sues & Rundell law firm, delivered the commencement address during the ceremony which was held in the Physical Education Building. </p><p> The following Avoyelles parish residents were among those awarded degrees: </p><p> Cottonport-Lars Arnold Ducote, associate in nursing; Terrie Ann DuCote, associate of arts; June Saunders Rabalais, associate in nursing; Kymberly Galland Robeau, associate in nursing; Effie-Linda McKay, bachelor of science in elementary education </p><p> Hessmer-Stacy Lynn Rock, associate in nursing </p><p> Mansura-Donnie Marks, bachelor of science in general business administration; Michel Morgan, bachelor of science in elementary education. </p><p> Marksville-David Keith Desoto, associate of science in business; Casey Kendall, associate of science in science </p><p> Moreauville-Jeamie Lane Brouillette, associate in nursing; Ginger Renee Lemoine, associate of science in science </p><p> Plaucheville-Sandra J.
