<p> Chancellor Robert Cavanaugh presented diplomas to 93 graduates during Louisiana State University at Alexandria&acute;s Spring Commencement exercises held May 21. During commencement, 70 students earned associate degrees and 23 students earned bachelor&acute;s degrees. </p><p> Tracy Johnson of Pollock received the President&acute;s Award as the LSU Senior College graduate with the highest overall grade point average. For this achievement, her bachelor of science in elementary education was awarded magna cum laude for attaining a grade point average of at least 3.80. </p><p> Charles S. Weems, III, president and senior member of the Gold, Weems, Bruser, Sues & Rundell law firm, delivered the commencement address during the ceremony which was held in the Physical Education Building on the LSUA campus. </p><p> Other Grant parish residents awarded degrees were Jamye Retos Murdock of Dry Prong, associate in nursing; Sue R. Lodge, associate of arts and Kimberly A. Sanburn, associate in criminal justice, both of Pollock, and Terri Ann Wells of Pollock, associate in nursing. </p>
