LSUA SPONSORS NEUILLY CATHOLIC BOYCHOIR OF PARIS

<p> The Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) Arts and Humanities Committee is proud to present a performance by the Neuilly Catholic Boychoir of Paris on Sunday, </p><p> July 19, 1998 from 8 p.m. until 9:30 p.m at St. Frances Cabrini Church. The program will include religious and secular music and there is no admission fee. </p><p> The original choir was founded in 1963 by Léon Petit. Today the choir, directed by Pierre Balbous, is a large "family" comprised of forty boys (between ages 8 and 25) who sing during the Mass every Sunday and perform concerts in France and around the world. </p><p> Monsignor Ronald Hoppe, Vicar General of St. Frances Cabrini Church, is the host sponsor for the Boychoir. Parishioners of the church are housing the choir during their visit to Central Louisiana. For more information contact Roy deVille at (318) 473-6449. </p>
