SATELLITE PRESENTATION ON PSYCHOSIS AND MOOD DISORDERS

<p> video conference on psychosis and mood disorders will be aired at Louisiana State University at Alexandria on Thursday, December 3, 1998 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Science Building Room 212. There is no fee to attend, but pre-registration is required due to limited seating. For reservations or more information, contact Teresa Seymour, associate director of Continuing Education and Technology, at 473-6566. </p><p> The program will define reasonable expectations for treatment outcomes for psychosis and mood disorders. This continuing medical education event carefully considers the clinical elements of mood stabilization. Specifically considered are acute depressive and manic symptoms and schizoaffective disorders. The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine designates this activity for a maximum of 1.5 hours in Category 1 credits towards the AMA Physician&acute;s Recognition Award. </p><p> This event is sponsored by CenterNet, The Interactive Network of the Association of Academic Health Centers in joint sponsorship with the University of Cincinnati Office of Continuing Medical Education. </p>
