<p> The Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) Division of Continuing Education and Technology has a variety of courses planned for February. These courses provide opportunities for personal growth and development, as well as avenues for self-enrichment. All courses meet on the LSUA campus and pre-registration is required by calling 473-6495 or 473-6445. </p><p> Line Dancing-This course will teach today&acute;s most popular line dances from country to soul. The class will meet on Thursday, February 4, 1999 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Physical Education Building. The cost is $16.50 and Donna Odom will conduct the class. </p><p> National Teachers Examination (NTE) Preparation-This one-day preparation for the NTE will offer ways to reduce test anxiety and test taking strategies. A sample test will also be administered at the end of the class. The session will be held Saturday, February 13, 1999 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. for a fee of $30 plus text. Lunch is not included in the cost. Donna Odom, instructor of education at LSUA, will be the teacher for the course. </p><p> Real World Marketing-Lafe Jones, owner of L.L. Jones and Associates, will share marketing, advertising and public relations techniques from "real world" experiences. The course will meet Tuesdays and Thursday, February 16, 18 and 23, 1999 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The fee is $38 and the class will meet in the Conference Center. </p><p> Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 97-This introductory course is designed to help educators and business people enhance their classroom and professional presentations. The course will be offered on Mondays, February, 22 and March 1, 1999 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Oakland Hall.
