POSTCARD DISPLAY AT LSUA´s LIBRARY

<p> Vintage postcards from Central Louisiana are currently on display in the James C. Bolton Library at Louisiana State University at Alexandria. This interesting collection depicts many old buildings that no longer exist, such as the old courthouse, nearby Army camps during World War II, early hospitals, schools and churches. Also included in the exhibit are a number of views of Hotel Bentley depicting its original design and later addition. The exhibit is on loan from Dale and Claris Genius of Alexandria. </p><p> The public is invited to view the historical collection during regular library hours until June 8. The library is open from 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Fridays until May 14. After May 14, weekday hours will be changed to 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. </p>
