MOUNTAIN BIKING COFFEE CALL

<p> The Bank of Lecompte is sponsoring a Coffee Call in conjunction with the Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) Division of Continuing Education and Technology called "Mountain Biking with the Chancellor." The session will be held on Saturday, </p><p> May 8, 1999 from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Kincaid Lake&acute;s West Boat Ramp. There is no fee to attend, but pre-registration is required by calling 473-6495 or 473-6445. Participants must provide a mountain bike and helmet. </p><p> LSUA Chancellor, Robert Cavanaugh, and Dr. David Huey, professor of bioloby, will lead this introduction to off-road bicycling for people of all ages. Topics will include selecting a bike, equipment, riding tips and locations, and minor repairs. Participants will ride on the Azalea Trail, Wild Azalea Spur and other trails in the area. </p><p> Coffee Calls are opportunities for the community to meet with faculty members for coffee and conversation in their field of study.
