LSUA PRESENTS FINANCE AND BANKING SHORT COURSE

<p> The Division of Continuing Education and Technology at Louisiana State University at Alexandria is offering a non-credit short course entitled "Finance and Banking" on Saturdays, December 4 and 11. The registration fee is $27 and pre-registration is required by calling 473-6495. The classes will meet from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the University Center at England Airpark. </p><p> This four hour course meets the requirements of recertification for contractors and builders. The instructor will be Paul Funderburk, vice president of Security First National Bank, who has 24 years of banking experience. He currently serves as the consumer loan department division head and is the retail division manager for North Rapides Parish. </p><p>

Funderburk is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking and completed the General Banking, Consumer Lending, and Commercial Lending diploma requirements of the American Bankers Association.
