EXPLORING ENGLAND AND SCOTLAND COFFEE CALL

<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria&acute;s Division of Continuing Education and Technology and the Bank of Lecompte presents a Coffee Call designed for participants to explore England and Scotland. This session will offer cultural and historical enrichment opportunities that previews the England and Scotland travel course offered in May by the university. </p><p> The Coffee Call will meet on Tuesday, January 25, 2000 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in Chambers Hall, Room 140. Coffee Calls are opportunities for the community to meet with faculty members and enjoy coffee and conversation in their fields of study. Coffee Calls are brought to you as a public service at no charge by the Bank of Lecompte. Pre-registration is required by calling 473-6495 or 473-6445. </p><p>

The session will be led by Dr. Eamon Halpin, associate professor of English, and Richard Gwartney, instructor of speech and theatre. Some topics and sites of discussion will include London, Stratford-on-Avon and the city of Edinburgh.
