INTRODUCTION TO PERSONAL COMPUTERS SHORT COURSE AT LSUA

<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria&acute;s Division of Continuing Education and Technology is offering a short course for participants to learn the basics of how to use a computer. The class titled "Introduction to the Personal Computer" will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 8, 10, 15, and 17 from 6-9 p.m. on the LSUA campus. The fee to attend is $118.00 and pre-registration is required. Dr. Lawanda Smith, will be the instructor for the course. </p><p> Dr. Smith will help participants become familiar with the basics of Windows 95/98, gain a working knowledge of the basic parts of the computer, learn about the most common software programs on new computers and learn the basics of navigating the Internet, including e-mail. </p><p> For more information or to register, contact the Division of Continuing Education and Technology at 473-6495 or 473-6445. </p>
