LSUA to Host Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon

<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. luncheon on Monday, January 22, 2001 beginning at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon will be held on the LSUA campus in the Barbara Brumfield Caffey Annex. Tickets for the event are $10 for regular admission and $2 for LSUA students with a current ID. Reservations are required in advance by contacting Dessie Williams at 473-6473. </p><p> The featured speaker will be Joseph Jackson, director of Outbacker Resources, Outback Steakhouse, Inc. of Tampa Florida. He will address the topic, "King&acute;s Dream on Inclusion Today." Music will be provided by the Augustine Sisters, new recording artists from Marksville. </p><p> Lunch will be provided by Outback Steakhouse of Alexandria with proceeds of the event to benefit the LSUA Ebony Scholarship. </p><p> For more information or to make reservations for the event, contact Dessie Williams, committee chair, at 473-6473 </p>
