LSUA Awards Certificates to EKG and Phlebotomy Techs

<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria&acute;s Division of Nursing & Health Sciences presented awards of completion to 10 electrocardiographic (EKG) technicians and 13 phlebotomy technician candidates in a ceremony on campus May 17. </p><p> Mrs. Lelia Bordelon, RRT, was the guest speaker for the event. She is the director of the Cardiopulmonary Department of LSU Health Science Center/Huey P. Long Memorial Hospital. She is a registered respiratory therapist and has been employed in healthcare for 23 years. She is also active in advanced cardiac life support education in this area. </p><p> The following students received awards of completion for the EKG Technician Program.
