LSUA Offers Basic Computer Literacy Course

<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) is offering basic computer literacy classes at various times during the upcoming fall semester. The class provides hands-on introduction to the operation and use of a microcomputer. Topics to be covered include using a mouse, interacting with the graphical user interface, word processing, spreadsheet creation, email and searching the Internet. This computer class will be offered throughout the 16-week fall semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-11:50 a.m. or from 1-1:50. p.m. The course is also offered during the 8-week A- or B-Terms from 1-2:40 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Night classes are available on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:50 p.m. at the University Center at England Airpark or on Monday evenings from 6-7:50 p.m. at LSUA . </p><p> Cost for this one credit hour course is $115.50.
