LSUA Offers Free Forum on B. B. King

<p> Louisiana State University at Alexandria&acute;s Division of Continuing Education and the Alexandria Museum of Art are offering a Free Forum titled "Riding with the King-B.B., That Is" on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Alexandria Museum of Art. The Forum will meet from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required prior to the event by calling 473-6495. </p><p> Free Forums are opportunities for the public to meet with various faculty members, staff and community leaders for coffee and conversation in their field of study. Free Forums are brought to you as a public service at no charge and are sponsored by the Bank of Lecompte. </p><p> Dr. Greg Gormanous, head of the LSUA Division of Liberal Arts and professor of psychology, will lead the forum. Discussion will include B.B. King&acute;s collaboration with Eric Clapton, Riding with the King, along with other CD&acute;s that were recorded in Louisiana. The movie Blues Brothers 2000 and the classic video, BB King Live in Africa, will also be presented and discussed. </p><p> For more information or to register for the forum, contact the Division of Continuing Education at 473-6495. </p><p>
