Louisiana State University at Alexandria’s golf course is getting an upgrade. This week, yardage signs began going in on all nine holes of the course.
The signs were donated with funds made available by the LSUA Alumni and Friends Association.
Each sign shows a drawing of the hole layout, the hole number, par, and the yardage for both women and men.
LSUA Golf Course Manager Jamie Trotter says that the new signs are a great addition to the course. “We’re very excited about it. It will be a help to all the golfers and especially the newer ones,” said Trotter. Trotter also expressed his appreciation to the AFA for their support.
Currently, about half of the signs are already in place and Trotter believes the rest of the signs will be up by the end of the weekend.
