Magic, fairies, and madness highlight LSU Alexandria fall class

Released: 06/19/2013

Those interested in the supernatural might want to enroll in a new course offering at LSU Alexandria this fall.

Throughout the semester, students in THTR 3900, “Shakespeare: Smoke & Mirrors” will explore the supernatural elements of William Shakespeare’s most mysterious plays, The Tragedy of Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. on LSU Alexandria campus. Robert Harper will teach the course.

There are no prerequisites for the course, and no textbook is required. The course would be perfect for an upper-level student or transfer student seeking an elective.
