It is not too late for prospective students to sign up for spring or pre-session classes at Louisiana State University at Alexandria, but the deadline is quickly approaching.
The application deadline for regular spring admissions is Dec. 1, 2012. Late registration for the pre-session will continue through Dec. 17, 2012, the first day of pre-session classes.
The pre-session, which runs Dec. 17-Jan. 12, will include courses in criminal justice, English, fine arts, health science, kinesiology, marketing, psychology, and statistics. Most courses are offered online, but some are offered on the LSUA main campus.
This spring, LSUA adds courses at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish in an effort to expand its outreach to other areas of Rapides Parish. LSUA already offers courses at the A.C. Buchanan Downtown Health Science facility, the Alexandria Museum of Art, and the Central Louisiana Business Incubator.
General education courses, including American government, college algebra, communication fundamentals, English, history, and psychology will be offered at the Learning Center, which is located at 1410 Neel Kearby Blvd. on England Airpark.
