Macbeth performance for Friday evening cancelled because of severe weather threat, Saturday's Festival to go on as planned

Tonight's performance of MacBeth is cancelled because of the threat of severe weather.

The Saturday performance will go ahead as scheduled. Please join us Saturday afternoon for the Shakespeare-on-the-Greene Festival including arts and crafts vendors from noon until 6:30 p.m.

Scheduled performances for the afternoon include The Society of Creative Anachronism with medieval combat demonstrations from 2-5 p.m., live music with Buck 'n Biscuit from 5-5:30 p.m. and the Daughters of Scharezde with a bellydance performance from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m.

The Empty Space Players' performance of Macbeth will begin at sundown (7:30 p.m.) The performance is free and is open to the public. Patrons should bring a lawn chair.
