Ball student elected president of LSU Alexandria Student Government

Ginger King, a senior English major from Ball, has been elected Student Government president at LSU Alexandria for the 2012-13 academic year in recent campus-wide voting.

Other officers are vice president Giovanni Rueda, a sophomore Communications Studies major from San Antonio, TX, and treasurer Kirstie Bieber, a junior radiologic technology student from Branch, Louisiana.

The new senator representing the senior class is Lacey Thornhill Greene, a psychology major from Alexandria, and Kayla Aymond, a nursing student from Hessmer, was elected junior senator. Domenica Burgess from Alexandria, and Jonas Lavalais from Marksville, both business majors, were chosen sophomore senators. Additional senators will be selected in the fall.
