Louisiana State University at Alexandria will host two local story tellers as part of the university´s observance of Black History Month. Sylvia Davis and Rosa Metoyer will perform their "Butterbean Tales" at a brown bag lunch at noon on Tuesday, March 5 in the Barbara Brumfield Caffey Annex. Those attending should bring their own brown bag lunch. This event is free and open to the public.

Both Davis and Metoyer are from Alexandria and have performed at numerous festivals and programs. They relate African American history to today´s times.
