Friends of Bolton Library to Raffle Homemade Quilt

The Friends of Bolton Library at LSU Alexandria will raffle a homemade cotton quilt to support unfunded library projects, announced Jane Texada, president of the organization. Tickets are $3 or two for $5.

The quilt, which was hand-stitched by six members of the LSUA Quilters, is on display in the Clementine Hunter Café at the Alexandria Museum of Art. Tickets are available at the museum or the Office of Auxiliary Services at LSUA.

The multicolored quilt measures 6 feet by 8 feet. The raffle will be held Dec. 1. Additional information is available from Nicole Holcomb, vice president of the Friends of Bolton Library, at 443-4148.
