22 Graduate from Leadership Central Louisiana Program

Leadership Central Louisiana’s seventh class under the direction of LSU Alexandria recently graduated 22, announced Cathy Andries, director of the Department of Continuing Education. The eight-month program exposes potential and current business and community leaders to aspects of economic development, government, education, public safety, arts and culture, environment and natural resources, and the military.

The latest graduates are Paul Bordelon, Cleco Corp. corporate controls manager; Marty Borland, VA Medical Center environmental care specialist; Kim Brady, Red River Bank portfolio manager; Kathy Brouillette, Mirror Image Salon co-owner; Cathy Butts, Cleco Corp. senior accountant; Chris Chelette, Valex Federal Credit Union chief executive officer; Diane Davidson, Roy O. Martin employee benefits manager; and Denise Drewett, Alexandria Eye & Laser Center clinic manager.

Also, Aubrey Flynn, Red River Bank training coordinator; Sherman Fookes, CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital human resources director; Nadja Gallagher, England Oaks sales/marketing director; June Guillory, LSU Alexandria human resource analyst; Brent Guillot, Moore Planning Group landscape architect; Sylvia Hebert, Lloyd N. Moreau controller; and Debbie Humphries, Gilchrist Construction general accounting manager.

Also, Krystal Johnson, City of Alexandria community outreach coordinator; Dustin Matthews, Capital One Bank business banker; Ryan Peters, Roy O. Martin workforce development manager; Kelly Rawson, VA Medical Center health system specialist; Brittany Sonnier, Capital One Bank business banker; Jude Watts, Randy Wiggins State Farm Insurance office representative; and Paul Williamson, CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital employer liason.

Nearly 200 people have graduated from the program, which begins in January and concludes in August. Applications for the 2010 Leadership Central Louisiana program are being accepted through Nov. 20. Additional information is available at learn@lsua.edu or 473-6495.
