Freshman Fair at LSU Alexandria

<p> LSU Alexandria is hosting a Freshman Fair to provide information about changes that will be taking place in higher education in the next few years. This event is open to young people in grades 8-10, along with their parents or family members. <p></p> The fair will be held Friday, May 16 from 9 a.m. until noon in the Barbara Brumfield Caffey Annex on the LSU Alexandria campus. The program will educate participants on new admission standards for all 4-year universities that will go into affect in 2005. The event is free with reservations required by phoning (318) 473-6417 or (318) 427-4415. <p></p> A representative from the Board of Regents will present the Louisiana Master Plan for Higher Education. Additionally, a member of the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Aid (LOSFA) will talk about the Tuition Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) and financial aid.
