Released: 01/30/2008

Teresa Seymour has been appointed director of records/registrar at LSU at Alexandria, announced Dr. H. Rouse Caffey, interim chancellor. She had held the position as interim since November when Nichole Mancone resigned to accept a position at Duke University.

"The LSUA administration has been very impressed with Teresa Seymour's leadership, organizational skills, enthusiasm and loyalty, and I am sure she will excel in this important position," Caffey said.

Seymour has worked at LSUA since 1995 and was director of education technology prior to the latest appointment. She worked at Boston College for six years before joining the LSUA staff. Seymour, a native of Pineville, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and master's in human relations and supervision from Louisiana Tech.
