Volunteer Trainers Set to Teach

<p> Twenty local residents graduated from LSU Alexandria&acute;s "Company&acute;s Coming" Customer Service Program on April 30 at Loyd Hall Plantation. These residents will serve as volunteer instructors to train area community members, businesses and organizations in preparation for the "Heart of Spain" exhibit coming to Alexandria this fall. All training components of this program can be customized so that businesses and organizations receive a greater benefit. <p></p> Customer Service Trainers will work in two-person teams to instruct other area residents in at least five "Company&acute;s Coming" community sessions this summer. These trainers will also be available to do on-site training for businesses and organizations with training groups of 10 or more. <p></p> The community Customer Service sessions will be held as Project ENABLE session in conjunction with the City of Alexandria. Sessions will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 3, 12, 28, and July 1 and 10, with locations of the sessions to be announced at a later date. Anyone interested in participating in or planning an on-site training session should call LSU Alexandria Continuing Education at (318) 473-6495.
