The program builds leadership skills and community awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing our community.

Leadership Central Louisiana exposes participants to a wide variety of community topics including the arts, politics, the economy, the military, community services, health care, education, tourism, public safety and law enforcement and the environment and natural resources.

Anyone in a leadership position or aspiring to be a community leader is encouraged to apply. This will be the sixth year that LSU Alexandria’s Continuing Education department has coordinated the program.

The deadline to apply is noon on Friday, Nov. 16.
