Global Warming Forum Noon Today at LSUA

Released: 10/08/2007

“Global Warming: Exploring Uncertainties” will be presented by Jay Grymes, LSU climatologist and WAFB-TV’s chief meteorologist, today at 12 p.m. at LSU Alexandria in the Science Building Auditorium.

Grymes will discuss scientific questions to be explored following the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s conclusion that the Earth is warming and humans are the primary agents of this global temperature change. Grymes will also discuss if the headlines and politics of global warming interfere with a scientific dialog about the IPCC’s conclusions.

This forum is free and open to the public.
